Schedl's themes are the relationship between man and woman, the connection between the individual and the group - personified by the Wiener Kammerchor wearing paper noses and excellently rehearsed by Michael Grohotolsky - as well as economic dependency.

That the Wiener Kammerchor performed all of these stylistically so varied works in each case authentically and with the greatest distinction demonstrates the magnificent performance standard of this ensemble as well as its equally precise and expressive adaptability.
